Christian Echle is the incoming director of Konrad Adenauer Stiftung’s Regional Programme Political Dialogue Asia, based in Singapore. He is a journalist by training and an alumnus of the foundation’s scholarship programme for young journalists. Before moving to Singapore, Mr. Echle was the director of KAS Media Africa, the regional media programme for Sub-Saharan Africa based in Johannesburg, since 2012. After joining the foundation in 2007, he first served as an online editor and Social Media expert at headquarters in Berlin.
