Who we are
The Media Programme Asia was established in 1996 by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, Germany’s biggest political foundation named after the country’s first chancellor Konrad Adenauer. The programme aims to strengthen the dialogue between media and politics, to monitor and highlight current media trends, and to support journalists in their endeavour for a free, ethical and responsible press. To reinforce the political communication in the region, the KAS Media Programme Asia initiated the idea and organized the first edition of ACPC in 2017.
