Dr. Kristin Wesemann is a political scientist from the University of Potsdam who holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanded International Studies (SAIS). Since 2012 she is working for the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Latin America, firstly, from 2012-2016 as a Country director for Argentina, and since then as program director for the regional program “Political Parties and Democracy”, which concentrates on strengthening political partner parties, building strong and sustainable political networks, and fostering knowledge of political communication among political partners.  Throughout her professional life Dr. Wesemann has worked in different positions for the German public Sector, the German Parliament as well as for the German Agency of International Cooperation (GIZ).
