He is a founder of Cyber Emotions Research Institute and established the World Association for Triple Helix and Future Strategy Studies<em> (WATEF).<\/em> His research focuses on the use, impact, and role of online media and\/or biggish data in extending academic, governmental, and business communications. He is Chief Editors for<a href=\"https:\/\/jceasia.org\/\"> <em>Journal of Contemporary Eastern Asia<\/em><\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.springer.com\/journal\/11135\"> <em>Quality &amp; Quantity<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Park was known as a pioneer in computational communication methods in the early 2000s (often called <em>Webometrics, Hyperlink Network Analysis<\/em>). The SCIMago-EPI and the Association for Information Science and Technology<a href=\"https:\/\/www.asist.org\/2021\/10\/26\/sig-sm-competition-award-recipients-2021\/\"> (ASIS&amp;T)<\/a> awarded him best paper prizes. He has appeared on the list of core-candidates for the Derek de Solla Price Medal. He was named by the<a href=\"https:\/\/publons.com\/researcher\/472322\/han-woo-park\"> Publons<\/a> as top 1% peer reviewer and ranked as top scientist in Computer Science &amp; Electronics field by the<a href=\"https:\/\/guide2research.com\/scientists\/\"> Guide2Research<\/a>. According to<a href=\"https:\/\/research.com\/u\/han-woo-park\"> Research.com<\/a>, he came in first in Korea for Social Sciences and Humanities Scientists. He has been invited to give a keynote speech in a number of conferences including the <em>International Communication Association (<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_unEQ9CcQDg&amp;list=PLpRIUFzlvALNyh42g-ynD5XjeSoe3s3D3&amp;index=14&amp;t=15s\"><em>ICA<\/em><\/a><em>)<\/em> and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=gpf_byPwUno\"> <em>Consumer Big Data<\/em><\/a>.
