{"id":1469,"date":"2022-09-21T16:52:23","date_gmt":"2022-09-21T08:52:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/acpc.asia\/acpc22\/?post_type=speakers&#038;p=1469"},"modified":"2022-09-21T18:51:38","modified_gmt":"2022-09-21T10:51:38","slug":"glenn-van-zutphen","status":"publish","type":"speakers","link":"https:\/\/acpc.asia\/acpc22\/speakers\/glenn-van-zutphen\/","title":{"rendered":"Glenn van Zutphen"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Glenn van Zutphen is a career international journalist and the founder of VanMedia Group Pte Ltd, an international media consultancy coaching high-performing C-Suite and D-Suite leaders, government officials, and entrepreneurs across ASEAN to deliver clear, concise, consistent and captivating spoken and written communication on digital &amp; news media platforms, TV, at conferences, and in business meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is the co-author of \u201cHappy Customers Everywhere\u201d and has also authored chapters in \u201cThe American Journey in Singapore,\u201d and the 11<sup>th<\/sup>, 12<sup>th<\/sup>, 13<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; 14<sup>th<\/sup> Editions of \u201cLiving in Singapore Reference Guide\u201d as well as contributing \u2018Growing a Business and Family in Singapore\u2019 in the book \u201cInsights from the Inside Volume II\u201d by the Singapore International Foundation (SIF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 29 years as a professional journalist he worked in print, radio, television and online news while based in the U.S., Japan, Switzerland, Hong Kong and Singapore. His work has appeared globally in countless newspapers, magazines and online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Regional News Editor for CNBC Asia\/Pacific in Singapore, he oversaw the daily editorial content and news coverage. While Anchor, Producer &amp; Reporter at CNN International based in Hong Kong and Atlanta, USA he covered stories ranging from the NATO-led bombing of Yugoslavia and Millennium celebrations, to Gulf War II and political and business events. He also covered local and regional stories before, during and after the 1997 Handover to China while based in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Singapore Permanent Resident since 2005, he is the immediate past-President and Board member of the American Association of Singapore, an active member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, and volunteers as Communications Mentor at The Hub start-up lab in Singapore.
