Marko M. Skoric is an Associate Professor at the Department of Media and Communication, City University of Hong Kong. He holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Michigan, and a B.Sc. in Psychology from the University College London, the United Kingdom. Marko\u2019s teaching and research interests are focused on new media and social change, with a particular emphasis on the civic and political implications of new communication technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Marko\u2019s research has appeared in peer-reviewed journals such as Asian Journal of Communication, Communication Monographs, CyberPsychology, Behavior & Social Networking, Computers in Human Behavior, International Journal of Public Opinion Research, Journal of Broadcasting & Electronic Media, Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication, New Media & Society, and Scientometrics. His work has been presented at numerous international conferences, including AEJMC, IAMCR, ICA, ICWSM, HICSS, NCA, and CeDEM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His research and commentary have been featured in international news media, including The BBC, The Economist and The Washington Post, and his study on video games cited by the Supreme Court of the United States (Brown v.
