Sagun Sunder Lawoti is the Spokesperson of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP). He is also the Member Secretary of the Department of International Relations of the party. He started as a youth activist and eventually went on to lead the party’s youth wing. He has been elected three times to the Central Working Committee, the apex body of the RPP.
Mr. Lawoti is a member of the election manifesto drafting committee, set up by his party for the upcoming parliamentary and provincial elections to be held in November 2022. He has contested and managed a number of election campaigns.
He hails from the eastern hills of Nepal and takes keen interest in local organisation. While he devotes his time at the centre as a party functionary, he also maintains close ties with the grassroots in his home constituency. Mr. Lawoti worked for a number of leading newspapers in Nepal before joining full time politics. He holds a MPhil degree in Sociology.
