Malou Tiquia has thirty-seven years of progressive and professional years of experience in public, non-government, private sectors and the academe. She is founder and CEO of PUBLiCUS Asia Inc. (PAI)., Malou principally handles lobbying/government relations, political campaigns and competitive intelligence for PUBLiCUS.

Malou was the 15th President of the Universidad de Manila, a local university of the City of Manila from 2019-2021. She introduced major courses on cyber security, data science, supply chain and microcridentialling for TVET. She built the facilities of the University in the main and the downtown campuses and steered and managed the University at the height of the pandemic by formulating its Learning Continuity Plan.

She is the lead convenor of the Association of Political Consultants in Asia (APCA) and Jasmine Stands (JS). APCA is a not-for-profit organization of political consultants in Asia while JS is an organization in support of women in politics in Assia.

She served the Philippine Government for 15 years in both the Executive and Legislative branches. Worked in the 100th Congress of the U.S. as a Congressional Fellow in the Subcommitte on Environment of the U.S. House of Representatives (Rep. James Scheuer, Democrat-NY) and as a personal staff to Sen. John Seymour, Republican-CA).

She was the first Executive Director of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines.
