In the last governmental election campaign, Dr. Stefan Hennewig was responsible for organizing the campaign of Germany’s CDU party. An integral part of this role included planning and implementing the online campaign, which was essentially built upon three pillars: relevant placement of their own channels (content creation), mobilizing supporters (community management and influencer marketing) and addressing target groups via paid advertisement (programmatic purchasing and more). The advertisement was played out based on previous tests and was targeted towards the party’s core KPI.
