Jakob Ohme is Head of the Research Group “Digital News Dynamics” at the Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society in Berlin and Associated Researcher at the Institute for Media and Communication Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin. His research interests center around the impact of digital and mobile communication on news exposure and political behavior in digital democracies with a focus on generational differences in media use and political socialization.
He has a special interest in the development of digital methods in political communication and journalism research. Currently he is a Fellow at the Digital Communication Methods Lab at University of Amsterdam.
