Jeanette Orminski is a PhD candidate at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University Singapore. With her research, she aims to identify patterns on how people are influenced in their behaviour through online social networks. She identifies influential users within the Twitter network and analyses specifically the sustainable fashion discourse. Prior to her candidacy, she was Research Associate for the KAS Media Programme Asia in Singapore. She completed her graduate studies in Communication Science and Communication Management at the University of Erfurt and Zeppelin University in Germany. Jeanette cares about the environment, education, and (mental) health and wellbeing.
