While everyone is looking at social media, the offline campaigns are still the most successful. A direct and ideally personal interaction with the voters is essential for all candidates. In the ongoing German election campaign the candidates either approach the voters in the city or try to reach them by knocking at their doors. These door-to- door campaigns are intensively used by Singaporean grassroots too. We will discuss why this approach is so important for success and then show best practice examples.
